South Carolina Set to Host Gamecock Shootout This Weekend

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Nine Gamecocks are ready to compete in the Gamecock Shootout this weekend. The Shootout is the first tournament hosted by South Carolina since the 2019 fall season.

“We are fired up to host some top teams here in Columbia, particularly because we will finally be able to compete in the new indoor center for the first time,” said head coach Kevin Epley. “The team has been working hard all fall and we’re anxious to see the improvements the team has made.”

The tournament will feature opponents from SMU, Butler and a split squad of Ohio State and Michigan. Play will consist of singles and doubles action over the course of the weekend, starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday.
