- Four University of South Carolina players were selected in the 2020 NFL Draft:
- Javon Kinlaw, Defensive Tackle, First Round, San Francisco 49ers, 14th pick overall
- Bryan Edwards, Wide Receiver, Third Round, Las Vegas Raiders, 81st pick overall
- D.J. Wonnum, Defensive End, Fourth Round, Minnesota Vikings, 117th pick overall
- T.J. Brunson, Linebacker, Seventh Round, New York Giants, 238th pick overall
- Five University of South Carolina players have signed free agent contracts:
- Rico Dowdle, Running Back, Dallas Cowboys
- Tavien Feaster, Running Back, Jacksonville Jaguars
- Kyle Markway, Tight End, New York Giants
- Kobe Smith, Defensive Tackle, Tennessee Titans
- Donell Stanley, Offensive Lineman, Miami Dolphins
- The Gamecocks had four players drafted, the most since the 2015 Draft when A.J. Cann, Mike Davis, Corey Robinson and Rory “Busta” Anderson were selected.
- Javon Kinlaw became the Gamecocks’ 14th first-round NFL pick and the ninth since 2000.
- Selected with the 14th pick overall, Javon Kinlaw became the highest drafted Gamecock since Jadeveon Clowney went first overall in the 2014 draft.
- Javon Kinlaw became the 16th first-round selection coached by South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp.
- 30 Gamecocks have been selected in the last nine drafts.
