Gamecock Swimmers To Compete for Olympic Trial Cuts
Columbia, S.C. – Select members of the South Carolina swim team will travel this week to represent the program on an international stage at the US Open in Greensboro, N.C.
Representing the women’s swimmers will be Nicholle Toh, Tia Salcutan, Breckin Gormley, and Dylan Scholes. The group of Gamecocks will begin competition on Thursday, Nov. 30.
The men will be represented by Michael Laitarovsky, Mark Shperkin, Connor Fry, and Raymond Prosinski beginning on Wednesday. Nov. 29.
All athletes will be competing LCM in an effort to reach qualifying times for the Paris 2024 Olympic Trials. Prelims will begin each day at 9:00 a.m. with finals following at 6:00 p.m. at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
Tickets will be available on ticketmaster.com and parking will be available on site – $8 for a single day and $24 for all four days of competition.
Finals of the event will be streamed on USASwimming.org on Nov. 29 and Dec. 2 and on Peacock on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
