Palmetto Bowl Set for a Noon Kick on November 30
The South Carolina Gamecocks will wrap up the 2024 regular season on Saturday, Nov. 30, when they travel to the Upstate for their annual showdown with the Clemson Tigers. The Palmetto Bowl will kick at noon from Memorial Stadium and the contest will be televised nationally on ESPN, it was announced today.
Clemson leads the all-time series by a 73-43-4 margin, but the Gamecocks posted a 31-30 victory in their last trip to Memorial Stadium in 2022. The Tigers won last year in Columbia by a 16-7 score.
Both schools have non-conference games against in-state FCS opponents this week. No. 19/19 South Carolina (7-3, 5-3 SEC) hosts Wofford (5-6, 3-5 SoCon) in a 4 pm contest at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia on Saturday, Nov. 23, while No. 17/17 Clemson (8-2, 7-1 ACC) hosts The Citadel (5-6, 3-5 SoCon) in a 3:30 pm tilt in Clemson.
