Vincent Takes Third at Tennessee Invite

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gamecock diver Julia Vincent took third place in the one meter at the Tennessee Diving Invitational. Both Vincent, a senior, and freshman Karlee Price made the events finals by placing in the top 12 of the preliminaries. Price finished tenth in the finals with a score of 266.60. Vincent earned her third place finish with 304.40.
Four Gamecock women competed in the one meter preliminaries at the Tennessee Diving Invitational. Vincent earned her highest score in the preliminary, taking first with a 313.45. Price improved on her preliminary score, a 260.60 for ninth place, to earn her 266.60 in the finals.
Yu Qian Goh and Mikaela Lujan both competed in the preliminary round of the one meter. Goh earned a score of 247.50 to secure 16th place and Lujan scored a 244.80 for 17th.
Grant Summers represented the Gamecocks in the men’s three meter, where he tied for 13th with a score of 305.40.
South Carolina will continue competition at the Tennessee Diving Invitational on Thursday.
