The walk-on program for South Carolina Football continues to thrive.

According to Jamie Speronis, Associate AD/Football Operations, 68 University of South Carolina students attended an orientation meeting on January 19 to learn more about the walk-on program.

Those position players and specialists who made the initial cut have been notified and will take the next step to become a member of the 2016 Gamecock football team.

The football staff would like to thank all of those who expressed an interest in joining the team.
