Curtis Frye Honored at State House for Hall of Fame Career

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina head track and field coach Curtis Frye was honored by the South Carolina State Senate in a ceremony at the State House in Columbia, S.C., on Tuesday. The recognition was a result of his induction into the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Hall of Fame as well as the sum of his career as a track and field coach on the collegiate, national and international levels.
Senator John L. Scott, Jr., introduced a resolution to recognize Frye and both he and Senator Gerald Malloy spoke about the impact and importance of the Gamecock’s work and accomplishments.
