COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina media relations department hosted its annual athletic department/media golf outing on Thursday morning at Cobblestone Park in Blythewood. The winning team at the event was comprised of South Carolina head men’s soccer coach Mark Berson, Scott Morgan from the football staff, and local media Bob Gillespie and Rob Dew. Also at the event, defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward tallied a hole in one to earn one of the closest to the pin competitions on the course.
The event is held prior to the start of fall practice for several of South Carolina’s athletics teams, including football which begins its fall camp next week.
