2010-11 – Contributed to the team effort in the mid-distance freestyle and IM events…Set personal-bests in 200 free (1:52.01), 200 back (2:01.81) and 200 IM (2:02.46) at SEC Championships…Her time in the 200 back ranked as the eighth-fastest in school history…200 IM time is the sixth-fastest at South Carolina…Part of 800 free relay team that earned an NCAA `B[apos] cut at SEC Championships (7:19.66)…Won 200 freestyle vs. Vanderbilt/Western Kentucky in first collegiate race (10/16)…Part of victorious 400 FR teams vs. Vanderbilt/WKU, Duke/Queens and Alabama/Georgia…Competed in every meet.

PRE-COLLEGE – Graduated from Juanita High School…Was team MVP for three straight years for the Rebels…State champion in the 500 freestyle…Two-time state winner in the 200 freestyle…Member of state record-setting 200 free relay team…Club team is Cascade Swim Club.

PERSONAL – Full name is Kelly Reid Tannhauser…Born Dec. 30, 1991 in Seattle, Wash….Parents are Wayne and Shirley Tannhauser…Has two brothers, Brett and Kerry, and a sister, Jamie…All three siblings were elite-level swimmers…Brett was an SEC Champion and an All-American for Tennessee…Jamie advanced to finals at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials and swam at Florida…Kerry competed at Arizona State…Plans to major in visual communications…Chose South Carolina because she enjoyed the atmosphere, the coaches were friendly and she saw an opportunity to improve as a swimmer…Chose the Gamecocks over an offer from Clemson.
