The undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks moved up two spots in this week’s Associated Press poll and one notch in the USA Today/Coaches poll, it was announced today.

Coming off a 21-3 win over previously undefeated Vanderbilt, the Gamecocks (4-0, 2-0 SEC) are ranked 10th this week by the A.P. and ninth by the Coaches. South Carolina has been ranked every week since the second week of the 2010 campaign.

Up next for Carolina is a Saturday SEC showdown with defending national champion Auburn. The Gamecocks and Tigers will square off at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia at 3:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 1. The game will be televised nationally on CBS.
