The annual Palmetto State showdown between the South Carolina Gamecocks and Clemson Tigers has been set for a 7:45 p.m. kick on Saturday, Nov. 26, it was announced today. ESPN will televise the contest nationally from a sold out Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.

The Gamecocks (8-2, 6-2 SEC) are ranked 14th in both the Associated Press and USA TODAY/Coaches polls and come in at number 12 in this week’s BCS Standings. They are set to play a non-conference game versus The Citadel (4-6) on Saturday. The Tigers (9-1, 6-1 ACC) are ranked seventh in the BCS Standings and in the AP poll and eighth in the Coaches’ poll. They wrap up their conference play on Saturday with a game at NC State (5-5).
