The annual Wild Wing Street Party & Pep Rally returns to Wild Wing Cafe at the corner of Lady and Gadsden streets in the Vista on Thursday, September 1. Gadsden Street will be closed off for the pep rally. Come on out to celebrate with fellow Gamecocks as we get excited for the start of the 2011 football season!

Festivities including a cornhole tournament, the Gamecock bounce house and live music from Tokyo Joe will begin at 3:30 p.m. During the 5:00-6:00 p.m. hour the 2011 Baseball College World Series trophy will be available for photo opportunities and the Carolina dance team, Gamecock cheerleaders, Cocky and the marching band will join the party leading up to head coach Steve Spurrier’s weekly “Carolina Calls” talk show hosted by Gamecock great Todd Ellis. “Carolina Calls” broadcasts live from Wild Wing each week from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on the Gamecock Radio Network.

The Gamecocks kick off the football season Saturday, September 3, vs. ECU at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Tickets are still available via Ticketmaster.
