The South Carolina football squad remains ranked in the nation’s Top-25 for the ninth consecutive week, it was announced today. The Gamecocks are 18th in the Associated Press poll and 17th in this week’s USA TODAY/Coaches poll released Sunday.

The Gamecocks (6-2, 4-2 SEC) held their same ranking from a week ago in the Coaches’ poll and slipped one notch in the A.P. poll after a 38-24 win over Tennessee on Saturday. They were 17th in both national polls a week ago. The Gamecocks are ranked in the Top-25 for the ninth-straight week, their longest consecutive stretch since the 2001 season.

South Carolina will host the No. 17/19 Arkansas Razorbacks (6-2, 3-2 SEC) on Saturday, November 6 at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia. Game time is set for 7 p.m. and the contest will be televised nationally on ESPN with Brad Nessler and Todd Blackledge in the booth and Holly Rowe on the sidelines.
