Transfer from Arizona State who joined the football squad in the spring of 2022… underwent hip surgery in February… has experience kicking at the collegiate level where he could challenge for field goal duties.

2021 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Enrolled at South Carolina in the fall but was not on the football team… named to the 2021-22 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.

2020 (Redshirt Freshman)
Shared the placekicking duties with Christian Zendejas at Arizona State… appeared in two of the Sun Devils’ four games… connected on his only field goal attempt, a 49-yarder against UCLA… was 9-for-9 in extra point attempts, including 8-for-8 in the win over Arizona.

2019 (Freshman)
Redshirted at Arizona State… served as a backup placekicker and punter.

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Bishop Diego High School in Santa Barbara, Calif., in 2019… connected on 16 field goals in his prep career, including a career-long of 51 yards… excelled as a punter, averaging 44.6 yards per punt over three seasons, including a 53.3-yard average as a junior with 20 of 35 punts inside the 20-yard line with a career-long of 83 yards… earned MaxPreps All-America honors as a punter following his junior campaign… collected 212 career extra points… recorded 260 career points over his career… recorded 66 touchbacks in his final two seasons, including 33 on his 45 kickoffs his senior year… named to the 2018 Cal-Hi Sports Medium Schools all-state team… was a Medium Schools first-team all-state selection by Cal-Hi Sports in 2017 after helping the Cardinals to the state championship… named second-team All-Decade by Cal-Hi Sports, just the third player from the Santa Barbara area to receive such an honor, joining Ernie Zampese and Sam Cunningham… a standout soccer player as well, scoring 29 goals his senior season in just 13 games… was a member of the 2018-19 Frontier League Champions and was the 2018-19 Frontier League Offensive Player of the Year on the soccer pitch.

Jack Miller Luckhurst was born Aug. 31, 2000… is a sociology major… father, Mick, kicked at Cal and later for the Atlanta Falcons from 1981-87… brother, Adam, is on the Carolina soccer team… sister, Nikki, played basketball at Tulane and was a member of the Great Britain National Team.
