2013 Freshman All-American
2017: Fifth-year senior… played both guard (29 starts) and center (17 starts) during his career… started 10 games, all at right guard, in 2017… missed three contests with a high ankle injury… did not play against Texas A&M, Arkansas or Tennessee after suffering the injury against Louisiana Tech… served as a game captain for the NC State, Georgia and Wofford tilts… his 46 starts overall (among his 47 games played), including two seasons at Wake Forest, was the most on the squad… recognized with the Unselfish Teammate Award for the offense… graduated in December… was selected to play in the East-West Shrine Game following the season… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll… named a semifinalist for the Campbell Trophy, which recognizes the nation’s top football scholar-athlete.
2016: Junior offensive lineman who started all 13 games… made his Gamecock debut in the Vanderbilt win, starting at center… shifted to right guard at Mississippi State and held that position throughout the remainder of the season… served as a team captain against Kentucky, Georgia and Tennessee… shared the Strength & Conditioning Award with Hayden Hurst as selected by the coaches… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.
2015: Former Wake Forest offensive lineman who joined the Gamecocks in the fall… was not eligible due to NCAA transfer rules.
2014: Started the first seven games at left guard, then moved back to center for the final five contests for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and head coach Dave Clawson.
2013: Earned Freshman All-America accolades for head coach Jim Grobe… played in all 12 games with 11 starts at center as a true freshman… started every game except Senior Day vs. Duke, giving way to senior Whit Barnes… became the first Demon Deacon since defensive tackle Marvin Mitchell in 1987 to start his first collegiate game when he got the call against Presbyterian in the season opener.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Milton High School in Georgia… played for coach Howie DeCristofaro… earned all-metro, all-region and high school All-America honors… awarded first team All-Region 5-6A honors as a senior… was the starting center for the Blue team in the Offense-Defense All-America Bowl in Houston… ranked as the No. 9 center nationally and the No. 58 prospect in Georgia by Rivals.
