2016: Redshirted as a true freshman… selected by the coaches as a co-winner of the Defensive Scout Team Award, along with Javion Duncan.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played along the defensive line at T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson, S.C., graduating in 2016… helped the Yellow Jackets to an 8-5 record as a senior… recorded 59 tackles with 6.5 sacks during his senior campaign… earned first team All-Region 1AAAA and first team All-Area according to the Anderson Independent Mail… named his squad’s Defensive Line MVP and was T.L. Hanna’s male winner of the Wendy’s High School Heisman… invited to play in the NUC Texas vs the World Senior Game… also earned Defensive Line MVP honors as a junior… was a four-year starter… totaled 148 tackles, 10.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries during his career… excelled in the classroom where he was an honors graduate… selected as a SC High School League Scholar Athlete… served as Class President for three years and attended Palmetto Boys State.
