Stephen Flint

Fourth-year junior wide receiver and holder on placements… former walk-on who was rewarded with a scholarship prior to the 2009 season… regarded as having excellent hands… has made one career start.

2009: Provided depth at the wide receiver position and was the number one holder on placements… saw action in all 13 games and made one start, getting the call against Vanderbilt… responded with a pair of catches for 10 yards in that contest, his only two career receptions… member of the 2009 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll.

2008: Handled the majority of the holding duties on field goal and extra point attempts for kicker Ryan Succop… earned his first varsity letter.

2007: Worked with the scout team while being redshirted as a true freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Wando High School in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., in 2007… played for Coach Bob Hayes… named team captain and Most Valuable Offensive Back as a senior… helped his squad to the state playoffs… also played baseball… was a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Stephen Bourne Flint was born December 27, 1988 in Mt. Pleasant, S.C… brother, Michael, lettered at Carolina in 2004 and `05… pursuing a degree in business management… enjoys the outdoors.
