The South Carolina football squad moved up one spot in the national polls this week following its 38-19 win over Furman on Saturday night.
The Gamecocks (3-0, 1-0 SEC) are ranked 12th in this week’s Associated Press poll and 15th in the latest USA TODAY/Coaches poll, both released today. They moved up one position in both polls after being ranked 13th and 16th in last week’s polls, respectively.
The Gamecocks will travel for the first time this season when they meet the No. 17/14 Auburn Tigers (3-0, 1-0 SEC) at Jordan-Hare Stadium on the Auburn campus on Saturday, Sept. 25. Game time is set for 7:45 p.m. ET (6:45 p.m. CT) and will be televised nationally on ESPN and ESPN 3D. Brad Nessler and Todd Blackledge will describe the action for ESPN with Holly Rowe working the sidelines. Joe Tessitore and Tim Brown will have the call for ESPN 3D with Ray Bentley on the sidelines.
