Three Gamecocks finish in the top 25 of the Cleveland Golf-Augusta State Invitational to elevated South Carolina to a ninth place finish. USC combined for a three-round total of 859. Southeastern Conference foe, Tennessee, blasted 841 to lead the 18-team field. Wake Forest finished second while Clemson placed third.

Martin Rominger continued his success with his fifth top 20 finish of the season. Rominger shot 209 to finish in a tie for 10th place.

Freshman teammate Alex Hamilton shot 67 in the final round of competition to vault him to 17th place, his first top 20 finish of the season. Hamilton posted a three-round total of 211.

Also cracking the top 25 was sophomore Brent Delahoussaye. Delahoussaye fired 213 to tie for 21st. Nash Elliot shot 226 to finish 79th and Scott Feaster placed 89th with 237.

South Carolina returns to action Friday, April 19 at the SEC Championships in Sea Island, Ga. The three-day tournament is scheduled from April 19-21. Last season the Gamecocks finished in seventh place.
