After two rounds of play at The Ridges Intercollegiate, South Carolina stands in fifth place with a score of 568 (289-279). TCU, firing 554, leads the field. Southern California shot 558 to finish the day in second place, while Wake Forest is in thrid with 564.

Estill, S.C. native, Nash Elliot, leads the Gamecocks with a score of 137 (67-70). Elliot’s five-under-par score puts him in fifth place for the final round of competion.

Freshman Martin Rominger and Brent Delahoussaye shot a two-round score of 143, tying for 19th place. Johan Kok, currently in 28th place and Jason Huguet, round out the Gamecock squad.

Leading the individuals is TCU’a Adam Robinson who blasted a two-day total of 133. Bill Haas is in second (135), while Trojan David Oh lies in third place.

South Carolina will begin the final round of play on Sunday, Sept. 9.
