After the first round of action at the Conrad Rehling Invitational, the University of South Carolina men’s golf team stands in 11th place. The University of Minnesota is on top of the leaderboard with a score of 282. University of Toledo is in second, while host Alabama is third.

Leading the Gamecocks is sophomore Brent Delahoussaye who blasted a first round score of 68. Delahoussaye, one stoke of the leader, is currently tied for third. Purdue’s Lee Williams and UAB’s J.J. Beckstrom are tied for first.

Martin Rominger is tied for 30th after firing a four-over par score of 75. Alex Hamilton shot 79 to place 56th. Rounding out the Gamecocks’ five-man squad is junior Johan Kok (80) and sophomore Matt Giffin (83).

The second round of action is slated for 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16.
