SEC Women’s Tennis Championship
Hosted by University of South Carolina (Columbia, SC)

# 4 South Carolina Coach Arlo Elkins
“The team kept up their focus and have accomplished things, and if we keep doing that, we can hang with anybody.

“You don’t get to beat the number one team everyday, so I told the girls to enjoy it, but that we still have matches left and we need to keep our focus. This is our first SEC final and I hope it won’t be the last. The chance to play for the Championship means a lot.”

Player Kathryn Boyanovich
“I really don’ t know what to say. Each time we play [Georgia] we think we think, we know we can beat them. But today we really knew that we were going to beat them. It feels really good to finally do it.”

“I can’t wait for the finals. I am looking forward to playing and I know that if we keep this up, it’ll be good for us…and fun.”

# 1 Georgia Coach Jeff Wallace
“Hat’s off to South Carolina. It was a well-deserved victory. We had an incredible match yesterday with lots of energy, but we came out flat today. I hope that we can use this as an eye-opener going into the NCAA tournament.”
