COLUMBIA, S.C. –
USC President Andrew Sorensen will join the Carolina Marching Band — “The Mighty Sound of the Southeast” — Saturday, Sept. 14, during the halftime show at the USC vs. Georgia football game at Williams-Brice Stadium. Sorensen, who plays trumpet, will be one of five soloists in the featured selection, “Five Guys Named Moe.”

After this selection, the halftime show will conclude with a performance by the combined bands of USC and Georgia, in commemoration of 9-11. Musical selections will include “Taps,” “Amazing Grace,” and “America the Beautiful.”
