The University of South Carolina has announced that the Vanderbilt University vs. South Carolina football game on Saturday, September 28th in Nashville will be televised on a
pay-per-view basis. Game kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM Eastern.

The announcing team for the game telecast will include former South Carolina record-setting quarterback Todd Ellis with play-by-play, and analysis from Gamecock All-American Brad Edwards and USC Heisman Trophy winner George Rogers.

Cable systems across the state of South Carolina are scheduled to carry the telecast from the VideoSeat pay-per-view service. Fans should contact their local cable system to order the game and receive price information. Home satellite dish owners (large C-band dishes) located outside the service areas of the participating cable systems in the state of South Carolina may order the game by calling (800) 887-8277 beginning Monday, September 23rd. Also, the game will be made available in South Carolina to Dish Network satellite owners for $29.95 (Channel # 461). No phone orders will be taken for Dish Network subscribers, just follow ordering instructions on your TV screen prior to kick-off on game-day.

Rules and guidelines regarding pay-per-view telecasts:

*The telecast is available only in the state of South Carolina to participating cable systems and home satellite owners. Not all cable systems in the state of South Carolina may have the event available.

*The game will also be made available to official alumni groups outside the state of South Carolina that have been approved by the University. Official alumni groups should contact the South Carolina alumni office at (800) 476-8752 to receive approval. Cost per alumni group is $225.

*Dish Network satellite owners only in the state of South Carolina may subscribe to the game. This is the only small-dish service that has the telecast available in the state.
