Columbia, S.C. – After three rounds of action in the PGA Q-School Finals, former Gamecock, Kyle Thompson stands in 59th place with a three-under-par score of 213. The top 35 players, of the six round event, will receive a PGA Tour Card.
The three-time All-American blasted a three-under-par 69 today on the TPC Stadium Course in La Quinta, Calif. Today’s round was a four stroke improvement from yesterday’s round of 73. Thompson still has one round on the Stadium Course and two rounds on the Nicklaus Course. In the first round of action, Thompson shot 71 on the Nicklaus course.
Brett Quigley, also a South Carolina alumnus, stands in 27th place.
