Columbia, S.C. –
Ticket prices for University of South Carolina home football games will
remain unchanged for the upcoming 2003 season. The Gamecocks play eight
games at Williams-Brice Stadium this fall and tickets to five of those games
are priced at $24 each. Tickets for games against Southeastern Conference
powers LSU and Florida will be $29 each.
The cost of the USC-Clemson ticket in Columbia will be the same as it
was at Clemson a year ago — $37. For that particular game, the USC
Athletics Department donates $10 per ticket to the University’s Academic
Scholarship Fund.
An eight-game season ticket will cost $215 in 2003. For the first time
since 1982, Carolina will play eight home games. USC received more than
61,000 season ticket orders a year ago, the most on record. The athletics
department once again anticipates the demand for season tickets in 2003 to
exceed the supply.
