Durham, N.C. – USC golfer Jonathan Jackson shot a seven-under-par 64 to lead the 57th Annual Herald-Sun Classic after the first day of qualifying. Jackson’s 64 was three strokes better than any of the other 195 golfers participating in the tournament. Midway through Jackson’s round the players were called off the course and a 40-minute rain delay followed.

The final qualifying round for the tournament, which is taking place at Hillandale Golf Club in Durham, N.C., will be held on Tuesday with match play beginning on Wednesday, June 18th and running through June 22nd.
