Columbia, S.C. – Ninth ranked South Carolina (27-10, 7-8 SEC) continues its homestand this weekend as the Gamecocks host Alabama (23-16, 5-10 SEC) in a three-game SEC series beginning Friday night at 7 p.m.. First pitch for Saturday is set for 4 p.m. with Sunday’s finale to start at 1:30 p.m. Saturday’s game will be televised live on FOX Sports Net South and SEC-TV with Dave Neal and Larry Conley calling the action.

The South Carolina-Alabama overall series is tied 16-16 with the Gamecocks winning the last two regular season series played between the two schools. Carolina swept the three-game series last year in Tuscaloosa and won two of three games in Columbia in 2002. Alabama owns two wins vs. Carolina in the last two games played by both teams at the SEC Tournament.
