Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina junior diver Allison Brennan will be honored as the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame’s Female Amateur Athlete of the Year at its annual banquet and induction ceremony on May 20. Brennan became the first national champion in USC swimming & diving history when she won the one-meter springboard competition in March at the 2004 NCAA Championships. Carolina finished in 11th place, the second highest finish in USC women’s swimming & diving history.

The ceremony will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Columbia. Tickets are priced at $500 for a table of eight or $80 per person. Tickets may be purchased by calling (803) 779-0905.
