Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina receiver Tim Frisby will be featured on NBC’s Today Show at 8:18 a.m. Wednesday.

The show sent a crew to Columbia for four days of taping last week that included interviews with Frisby, his wife Anna, Gamecock head coach Lou Holtz, as well as with USC teammates Taqiy Muhammad, Troy Williamson, Jermaine Harris and Jamacia Jackson. NBC’s national correspondent Jamie Gangel was the talent for the piece.

Frisby has been the subject of an unprecedented amount of national television exposure, as he has been featured as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Show with David Letterman, appeared live on CNN and on ESPN’s Cold Pizza, was featured prominently on ESPN College Football GameDay and Fox Sports Net Across America. He was also featured on Good Morning America and Live with Regis and Kelly.

“This has all been very exciting, and I am honored to represent South Carolina on a national stage like this,” Frisby said. “I have been lucky to deal with some of the top shows in America and it has been a thrill.”

The Today Show, hosted by Katie Couric and Matt Lauer, airs from 7-10 a.m.
