The University of South Carolina Swimming and Diving team is set to compete in the Auburn Invitational hosted by the nationally ranked Auburn Tigers. Other teams competing include Penn State and Western Kentucky. Competition begins on Thursday and wraps up on Saturday.

The Gamecocks are off to a solid start this season with a duel meet win against in-state rival Clemson. The women also posted a convincing win against the Miami Hurricanes. This season, the women have been led by several members of the squad. Junior, Haley Skaggs has been consistent thus far as well as Christy Williams and Heather Roffey. Diver Lauren King has had solid performances in each competition this year.

For the men, Tamas Bathazi and Dan White have played pivotal roles in the teams’ succes this season. Diver Andy Bradley has finished first in each meet he has competed in thus far.

Prelims are slated to begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday. Finals on Thursday and Friday will begin at 6 p.m. and on Saturday they will begin at 4 p.m. All times are Central.
