GAINESVILLE, Fla.– The University of South Carolina’s men’s golf lineup for this weekend’s SunTrust Gator Invitational was finalized today after a strong qualifying round. The five-man squad will feature junior Eirik Johansen, senior Alex Hamilton, redshirt senior Jake Thompson, junior Robert Svensson and freshman Mark Anderson.

“We had a very good qualifier in some brutal weather,” said head coach Puggy Blackmon. “We’ve got great depth which made the lineup decision complicated. It’s early in the season, but I haven’t been this excited for a spring opener in a long time.”

Two rounds of 18 holes each will be played Saturday with the third and final round on Sunday. All play will begin at 8 a.m.
