Gamecock Notes:
– Danielle Wiggins play in doubles was her first this season in any singles or doubles match. Wiggins was preseason ranked 25th in the country in singles but has not played because of an injury.
– The Gamecocks clinched their first doubles point of the season by taking two of the three doubles matches.
– The match with Maryland is the first against an ACC opponent in Columbia (other than Clemson) since USC hosted NC State on February 22, 2003.
– USC is now 13-2 at home in the month of February since the beginning of the 2002 season and they are 16-4 overall in that span.
– USC has won 8 straight non-conference regular season matches.
– USC is 3-0 indoors this season. (2-0 Home, 1-0 Away)
– The start by Grace Blakely at No. 6 singles was her first ever in a dual match.
