Columbia, S.C. – The University of South Carolina football program and Reebok have agreed to a multi-year deal effective immediately in which Reebok will provide the Gamecocks with performance footwear.
As the official outfitter of the NFL, Reebok is a name well-known in football circles. Every player in the NFL is outfitted with NFL Equipment Apparel, designed and engineered by Reebok.
“We are real excited to have Reebok be our shoe supplier,” Head coach Steve Spurrier said. “Reebok does all the NFL teams’ apparel and shoes and for us to be associated with them, it is a tremendous compliment and honor that they think so highly of the University of South Carolina and they also want to be associated with us. We look forward to many years with Reebok.”

The excitement continues to grow for the South Carolina football program since the arrival of Steve Spurrier last November. Since his hiring, it was announced that the Gamecocks’ first three games will be televised nationally, the Garnet and Black Spring Game was televised nationally by ESPN2 and ESPNU, Spurrier appeared as a guest on ESPN SportsCenter’s Sunday Conversation and was also featured on ESPN2’s Cold Pizza. In addition, he was featured on The Golf Channel’s Top Shelf Wednesdays.
Spurrier owns the highest winning percentage in the history of the Southeastern Conference. During his 12 years at Florida, he led the Gators to six outright SEC Championships and the 1996 National Title.
