Fresh off a 30-22 victory over 12th ranked Florida and riding a five-game winning streak, the South Carolina Gamecocks have moved into the nation’s top 25 teams this week.
The Gamecocks, 7-3 overall and 5-3 in the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference, are ranked 19th in this week’s Associated Press poll, and 21st in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll. Carolina has posted consecutive victories over Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Arkansas and Florida, the first time they have won five straight SEC games since joining the league in 1992.
The Gamecocks wrap up their regular season on Saturday, November 19, when they host in-state rival Clemson (6-4) in a 7:00 p.m. contest at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.
