The Toyota Gamecock Village will be open from 3:00pm until 6:30 pm before the home game against Clemson this Saturday. Located in the Grandstand at the Fairgrounds, the Village is free and open to the public. Game time is 7:00pm.

-Toyota Legends of the Game: Steve Taneyhill, Cleveland Pinkney, and Collin Mackie will be signing autographs from 4:30-5:30 at Gamecock Village.

Former quarterback Taneyhill is remembered as one of the most colorful figures in Carolina football history. He still holds USC records for most career touchdown passes (62), career completions (753), season completions (261), and game completions (39). He was the MVP of the 1995 Carquest Bowl, leading the Gamecocks to their first-ever bowl win. He is currently the head football coach at Chesterfield High School.

Defensive tackle Cleveland Pinkney played for the Gamecocks in 1999 and 2000 and has played in the NFL for the past five seasons. He was named first team All-SEC by the Sporting News in 2000 and was captain of the team that won the first of two Outback Bowls.

Former kicker Collin Mackie is Carolina’s all-time leading scorer with 330 points. He also holds the season scoring record with 113 points. He was chosen as the kicker on USC’s all-time football team and was named to the All-South Independent Team in 1990. He is currently vice president of Greenville First Bank in Greenville, SC.

-The USC Band, cheerleaders, and Cocky will perform at 5:00 inside Gamecock Village.

-The Carolina men’s and women’s track teams will be making appearances inside Gamecock Village from approximately 4:30-5:30.

-Check out a display of new Toyota trucks and SUVs and take your picture next to the Toyota Gamecock Truck!

-The Ro*Tel “Pigskin Rivalry Series” will be stopping in Columbia, sampling their Ro*Tel Famous Queso and giving out coupons and free coozies.

-The Colonial Kids Corner features three large inflatable games for kids.

-Meet WLTX-TV anchorman J.R. Berry and pick up your free Gamecock child-size seat cushion at the WLTX booth.

-Jewelry Warehouse will have Carolina gear available for purchase and will be having another “Buy One Get One FREE” USC t-shirt sale at their booth.
