Three University of South Carolina women’s tennis players were ranked in the final ITA Southeast Fall Regional Rankings. Freshman Gira Schofield was the highest ranked Gamecock coming in at 11th while junior Laura Ganzer finished at 25th and freshman Natasa Vuckovic was ranked 27th.

Schofield finished the fall with an 11-2 record in singles and won the top flight in the SEC Fall Coaches Classic. Schofield defeated Vuckovic in the final of that flight. Ganzer completed the fall with a 5-4 mark while Vuckovic posted an 11-5 record.

The Gamecocks had three players that finished the 2005 season ranked nationally: Christyn Lucas, Danielle Wiggins, and Laura Ganzer. Lucas and Wiggins did not compete this fall due to injuries.
