University of South Carolina golf signees George Bryan IV, Patrick Rada and Paul Woodbury have been named to the All-Carolinas Junior team and will be recognized at the Carolinas Golf Association’s Golf Night on Feb. 10, 2006, at National Golf Club in Pinehurst, N.C.

The All-Carolinas Junior Team is part of a seven-week, 11-event series of junior championships held during the summer. The awards are presented to junior golfers based on their performances in major junior golf events held in the North Carolina and South Carolina. The four leading points recipients in each division.

Bryan, a high school senior, won the Carolinas PGA Westfields Championship, finished eighth in the South Carolina Junior Boys Championship, qualified for and advanced to match play in the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship, and finished second in the Carolinas Boys Championship.

Rada, a high school senior, won the South Carolina Boys Junior Championship, placed 10th in the Carolinas PGA Westfields Championship, was a semifinalist in the South Carolina Junior Boys Match Play Championship, and finished fourth in the Carolinas Junior Championship. Rada also represented the Carolinas Golf Association on their junior team.

Woodbury, a high school senior, finished second in the South Carolina Junior Boys Championship and the Carolinas PGA Westfields Championship, tied for third in the South Carolina Independent Insurance Championship, and tied for ninth in the Carolinas Junior Championship.

Bryan, Rada and Woodbury all signed National Letters-of-Intent to attend South Carolina in November.
