Wednesday is “Pack the Park” Day for South Carolina softball. On April 5, the Gamecocks will host the No. 10 Georgia Bulldogs in a 5 p.m. doubleheader. All Gamecock fans are encouraged to come out to Beckham Field prior to the USC vs. Clemson baseball game set for 7:00 p.m. The first 50 fans will receive a free hamburger or hot dog with a drink. The 300th fan will receive the Gamecock Ticket Gift Pack, which includes two tickets to a 2006 USC football game and to men’s and women’s basketball games. The 500th fan to the first game will receive $100.

The Gamecocks (22-17, 2-10) return home for an SEC series for the first time since mid-March. USC is hoping to snap a five-game overall losing streak and a three-game losing streak to the Bulldogs. Georgia (32-9, 12-3) enters the series leading the SEC East and has won their last four games, while USC is fourth in the division. Carolina leads the overall series 20-15.

The series will conclude Thursday, April 6 with a single game at 5 p.m. All games can be followed live on via Gametracker and free audio webcast.
