Game times have been set for a pair of the University of South Carolina’s non-conference home football games, it was announced today. Both the Wofford game on Saturday, Sept. 16 and the Florida Atlantic game, set for Saturday, Sept. 23 will kick off at 7 p.m. at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.
The Gamecocks hold a 16-4 advantage in the all-time season series over Wofford, including wins in each of the last 13 meetings, dating back to 1918. The teams last met in Columbia in 2001 with USC posting a 38-14 win. USC and Florida Atlantic will be meeting for the first time when the Owls come to Columbia on Sept. 23.
Both games will be available on a pay-per-view basis throughout the state of South Carolina. The Wofford game will also be part of ESPN’s GamePlan package.
