South Carolina fans are encouraged to join Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard for ESPN’s taping of College GameDay Built by the Home Depot in Columbia this weekend.

The crew will tape segments on Friday, Oct. 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the State Fairgrounds, across the street from Williams-Brice Stadium. On Saturday, Oct. 28, ESPN will go live from the fairgrounds during the 9 a.m. Sportscenter before College GameDay’s two-hour show originates from Columbia from 10 a.m. to Noon.

The South Carolina Gamecocks (5-2, 3-2 SEC) will play host to 8th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers (6-1, 2-1 SEC) on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. on ESPN. Fans are encouraged to wear Garnet to all of these events.

To accommodate fans who wish to attend these events on Saturday, all Gamecock Club parking areas (Fairgrounds, Key Road, Stadium, National Guard and Capital City Stadium) will open at 9 a.m. You must have your Gamecock Club parking pass to enter. Gamecock Club Fairgrounds parking will enter through Gates 6 and 11.

General Admission Fairgrounds parking will open at 2 p.m. All general admission traffic will enter off of Rosewood Drive.

GameDay is in its 20th year of existence and its 13th year as a traveling program to campus sites. This will be the fourth time that GameDay has visited the South Carolina campus. The first visit came in November of 2001 for the USC-Florida game. They were on hand again in September of 2004 for the Carolina-Georgia contest. Most recently, they were here for game one of the Steve Spurrier Era when the Gamecocks hosted Central Florida on Aug. 31, 2005
