COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina women’s tennis program is set to host the annual Southern Intercollegiate Championships beginning Friday and ending Sunday. Facilities being utilized for the event include Maxcy Gregg Tennis Center, Sam Daniel Tennis Center, Columbia Tennis Center and the Gamecocks’ four indoor courts.

Gira Schofield and Ana Marija Zubori will compete in the A-1 singles draw and team up in the A-1 doubles bracket. Natasa Vuckovic and Laura Ganzer are listed in A-2 singles, and Megan McGavock will compete in B-2 singles. Miranda Gutierrez is in the C-1 bracket and Christyn Lucas is among the C-2 draw.

Other doubles teams for South Carolina include Lucas-Vuckovic in A-2, Ganzer-McGavock in B-1 and Grace Blakely-Gutierrez in B-2.

The Southern Intercollegiate Championships consist of seven 16-player singles draws with consolation matches. For doubles, seven eight-team draws with consolation matches will take place.
