Columbia, S.C. – The three day SEC Diving Championships concluded Sunday at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky.

Senior Lyndsey Havens was the only Gamecock to advance to the finals on Saturday. She finished sixth in on the one-meter board with a score of 286.35. The other three Gamecock divers just missed the finals. Freshman Sarah Mory had a solid performance in her first SEC Championship appearance, finishing ninth in the preliminary round on the one-meter board. Sophomore David Ovelson finished ninth on the three-meter board in the preliminary round, and sophomore Corry Christian finished tenth. The Gamecocks did not enter any participants in Sunday’s platform diving events.

The Gamecock men are sixth overall with 36 points heading into the swimming championships. The women are seventh with 28 points. Overall, the team is in eighth place with 64 points.

The swimming portion of the SEC Championships is set for Feb. 14-17 in Lexington, Ky.
