Columbia, S.C. – Four Gamecock men are scheduled to compete in the Men’s NCAA Championships this weekend in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Competition will begin tomorrow and run through Saturday.

South Carolina will be represented by the 800-freestyle relay team of senior Colby Mack, freshman Dominique Lendjel and juniors Dan White and Kyle Cormier. The 2006 800-freestyle team, which included Mack, White and Cormier, finished 12th at the championships and earned All-American honors.

This year’s team qualified for NCAAs by swimming 6:30.38 and finishing fourth at the SEC Championships in February. This will be White, Mack and Cormier’s second NCAA appearance and Lendjel’s first.
