Columbia, SC – The South Carolina track and field teams will travel to Tucson, Ariz. this weekend to compete in a very unique meet — the Jim Click Shootout – hosted by the University of Arizona on Sat., March 24.

The meet will feature some of the best college athletes in the country, as teams from South Carolina, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Kansas State and Texas Tech will be competing. Arizona will be teamed with California to represent the Pac-10 conference, and will be going up against combined teams from the Big 12 and Southeastern Conferences. Texas Tech and Kansas State will comprise the team from the Big 12, while South Carolina will be paired with the Florida men and Arkansas women to make up the Southeastern conference team.

The tri-scored meet will pit the SEC, Pac-10 and Big 12 against each other. This weekend is expected to be the outdoor debut for NCAA indoor national champion Natasha Hastings (400m) and All-American Thomas Hilliard.
