The University of South Carolina Gamecocks will wrap up their 2007 spring drills with the annual Garnet & Black Spring Game on Saturday, April 14. The game will begin at 2 p.m. at Williams-Brice Stadium.

Tickets are on sale now at the Carolina Athletics Ticket Office, located in the Colonial Center, and on-line at www.uscsports.com. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for youth. Ticket office hours are from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday. On Saturday, ticket prices will be $12 for adults and $6 for students. Carolina students will be allowed into the game for free with a valid ID. The main northwest stadium box office will open at 10:30 a.m. on game day. Approximately 7,000 tickets have been pre-sold as of Monday morning.

South Carolina Athletics is not charging for parking on Saturday. Free parking will be available at the Key Road lot beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, and along the various local roads. Fans who elect to park along the streets are reminded to park in a fashion that allows regular traffic flow to remain uninterrupted. Fans wishing to park in the state fairgrounds will be charged $10 per car and $20 for RVs, with that money going to the Fairgrounds. Fairgrounds Gate 10 on Bluff Road will open at 8 a.m. and Gate 6 will open at 9 a.m. There is no overnight RV parking available in the fairgrounds. ETV lots will open at 8 a.m. and will be available for $5 on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU, with Dave Armstrong and Mike Gottfried describing the action. Tom Luginbill will provide sideline interviews and commentary throughout the contest.

The halftime show will feature the annual football awards, a special presentation involving Under Armour and an encore performance by Hootie & The Blowfish.
