Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina swimming and diving released its 2007-08 schedule Tuesday. The Gamecocks will host four events at the Carolina Natatorium.
USC will open the season on Oct. 5 when the Gamecocks host Virginia Tech. LSU then travels to Columbia for a dual-meet on Oct. 13 before Carolina travels to Knoxville, Tenn., to compete against nationally ranked Kentucky and Tennessee.
The road trek continues Nov. 3 as Carolina travels for a meet against Clemson and concludes the fall portion of the schedule at the Ohio State Invitational from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2.
The Gamecocks will return home in January with dual-meets against N.C. State and Florida State. Carolina then travels to Chapel Hill to compete against North Carolina before returning home for an SEC tri-meet against Georgia and Alabama on Feb. 2.
The SEC Swimming and Diving Championships will be held in Tuscaloosa, Ala., with the Women’s NCAA Championships in Columbus, Ohio, and the Men’s NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Washington.
