The South Carolina – Mississippi State football game, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29 at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, will kick off at 12:30 p.m. and will be televised by Lincoln Financial Sports, it was announced today.

The Mississippi State game is the annual Homecoming game for the University of South Carolina. South Carolina is 3-0 on the season and 1-0 in the SEC. The 12th-ranked Gamecocks travel to No. 2 LSU this weekend. Mississippi State is 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the SEC. They are coming off an upset win at Auburn and host Gardner-Webb this weekend.

The all-time series is knotted at six wins apiece, with each team winning three times in their home stadium and three times on the road. South Carolina has won the last four meetings, including a 15-0 shutout in Starkville, Miss. to open the 2006 season.
