Reserved Gamecock Club parking in the State Fairgrounds will remain the same as normal for Thursday night’s Southeastern Conference football game between the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Kentucky Wildcats, it was announced today.

Red and Green passes will be admitted and the Half Scholarship lot will remain open as usual. Those Gamecock Club members holding those parking passes will be allowed to park in their assigned space in the Fairgrounds. Press parking in the Fairgrounds will also remain unaffected.

Due to preparations for the annual South Carolina State Fair, the General Public area through Gate 12 and the area near the Rocket will not be available.

Additional public parking for both cars and RV’s will be available at Capital City Stadium on Assembly Street.

All lots will open at 2:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. contest that features the 11th-ranked Gamecocks (4-1, 2-1 SEC) and the eighth-ranked Wildcats (5-0, 1-0 SEC). The game will be televised nationally by ESPN.

Gates to Williams-Brice Stadium will open at 5 p.m. No food items are permitted in the stadium. One sealed bottle of water will be allowed. In addition, no backpacks or coolers are permitted. Williams-Brice Stadium is a tobacco-free facility.
