ORANGE BEACH, Ala. – South Carolina midfielders Ashley Kirk and Kim Miller earned spots on the 2007 SEC All-Tournament Team after USC advanced to the tournament semifinals for the second consecutive season. The recognition is the second in Kirk’s career while it is the first for Miller.

Kirk, a senior from Macon, Ga., and Miller, a sophomore from Farmingdale, N.Y., patrolled the center midfield for South Carolina in both tournament games and have started in their positions every game of the season. The duo was instrumental in helping the Gamecocks achieve their first SEC Tournament victory and defeat Tennessee for the first time in school history. Kirk, a 2007 first team All-SEC selection, was also named to the 2006 SEC All-Tournament team after helping the Gamecocks advance to the semifinals in penalty kicks over Vanderbilt.
